    ideal dan riil seringkali dipertentangkan. riil adalah suatu keadaan yang nyata dan benar-benar terjadi. ideal adalah keadaan sempurna berdasarkan kaidah-kaidah tertentu. kenapa keadaan riil seringkali berbeda dengan keadaan ideal? karena sulit sekali mengharapkan keadaan yang sesuai untuk menerapkan semua kaidah untuk mencapai hasil yang sempurna. tapi bukan berarti jadi tidak berusaha untuk mencapai ke arah sempurna. untuk mencapai sempurna mungkin tidak, tapi menerapkan kaidah yang sesuai dalam rangka mencapai hasil mendekati sedekat mungkin dengan sempurna mungkin bisa dilakukan.

    honestly, sudah beberapa tahun ini saya banyak sekali gak mikir. untuk hampir semua things, i’ve always taken them for granted. dalam menghadapi masalah, saya banyak pasif dan menunggu untuk ditolong. saya gak nyari jalan keluar tapi justru mencari celah gimana supaya masalah ini gak jadi masalah. ngeles ke sana ke sini supaya gak disalahin.
    semua itu kayaknya gara-gara saya gak mau susah-susah mikir. karena saya sudah gak terbiasa lagi untuk berpikir dan mencari solusi.

    Ketika akan mengakses virtual machine menggunakan VMWare Remote Console, biasanya kita harus terhubung dengan jaringan

    Ternyata hal tersebut bisa dihindari dengan melakukan konfigurasi sederhana pada koneksi VMnet1 di Network Connections

    Berikut adalah langkah-langkah yang saya dapat dari forum vmware :

    1. Masuk ke “Network Connections” di Control Panel
    2. Buka properties dari “VMNet1″
    3. Buka properties dari “Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)”
    4. Salin Static IP yang tercantum ke textbox DNS

    It’s been a while since I last posted anything in this blog. It’s not that I didn’t have anything to write. I just don’t feel like I want or need to write.

    Whew, I’m overwhelmed by lots of things….or maybe I overwhelmed myself with lots of things to be precise. many new and old things that really got my attention.
    Life’s been pretty good for me. It’s not that my life is spectacular like somebody else, but I feel that this is pretty much what I wanted. I can never thank God enough for all that He have given me. I have no reason to complain, eventhough sometimes I do :p well, I’m a human after all….
    Moving forward, I think I need to shape my future more seriously. I always think that life should be lived as it’s given. Let it flow, as some people said….. But lately, I’m starting to feel that I need to decide about more things in life. I have to shape my life with my own choice, without neglecting the fact that the real outcome is not for me to decide. But still…I need to have a firm point of view, from which I can act upon something that is happening in front of me.
    Work is never more challenging than these last few months. More and more I’m being pushed to have more part of the whole operation, both technically and non-technically. Sometimes it’s sucks…I have to be honest with that. A part of the work involved a few things that I don’t like to deal with. But that’s the part of the challenge. In which I also found an interesting role that I have to play. This is more about technical stuffs. I got the chance to learn a subject that I’m interested in. And I do hope I can be more useful in this kind of things. I want to make this team a successful one. The team is thankfully quite aligned with me. At least I can communicate with them well enough.
    I think this post doesn’t have any correlation with the title. But this is just a spontaneous post, so I don’t really care… :p

    Tapi setelah mempertimbangkan betapa repotnya kalo nginstall semua aplikasi dari awal lagi dan mem-back up semua data di hard disk, saya coba googling dulu. Akhirnya dapet solusi dari salah satu forum

    Ternyata caranya sederhana sekali. Berikut ringkasannya:

    1. Dari Windows Explorer, buka menu Tools > Folder Options
    2. Buka tab “File Types”, dan cari extension “MSC”
    3. Klik “Change”, kemudian arahkan ke “C:WindowsSystem32mmc.exe
    4. Klik OK terus, sampe keluar

    Di balik kata ini, tersimpan berbagai harapan. Harapan untuk mendapat kehidupan yang baik di negeri sendiri. Mengatur negara sendiri, mengurus bangsa sendiri, mendapat manfaat dari alam kita sendiri. Kemerdekaan seharusnya menjadi suatu hal yang mengubah nasib bangsa ini menjadi lebih baik.

    Why bother writing a blog when you have a microblog like twitter? Alasan utamanya sih microblogging cuma bisa muat 160 karakter. Memang di beberapa aplikasi hal ini bisa diakalin. Namun namanya bukan lagi microblogging dong ya, kalo tulisannya sampe beberapa paragraf.

    Twitter bagi saya seperti wadah untuk spontanitas pikiran kita saat itu. Kini dan di sini, mengutip salah satu doktrin di OS Jur dulu. Blog lebih merupakan jurnal dari sebuah pengalaman yang pantas diceritakan atau dibaca kembali pada lain waktu. Mungkin isinya bisa tips, lesson learned, hal yang mungkin menarik bagi sebagian orang atau bisa juga cerita lucu.

    Salah satu blog dengan penyajian content yang paling menarik bagi saya adalah blog Pak Armein, dosen saya di ITB. Penuturannya singkat, lugas dan bermanfaat. Poin terakhir adalah hal yang penting bagi saya karena saya akhir-akhir ini jarang sekali membaca. Sehingga sayang sekali jika dari bacaannya tidak ada nilai yang bisa diperoleh.
